First Family Friday Night Game Night!

We had our first Family Friday Night Game Night last night and it was so fun! Violet really enjoyed the game we played and was actually asking to play it first thing this morning when she woke up! We played one round of "Brown Bear, Panda Bear What do You See?" It's an Eric Carle animal matching game, it was a big hit (thanks Laura)!! The only thing missing was a yummy snack, maybe next week!

A Weekend Trip to Nana and Poppa's House!

Brian is out of town until Thurs. so after we dropped him off at the airport last Friday night Violet and I made the trip to my parents house to stay until Tues. morning! We had a lot of fun going to the park, being outside, going for walks, and playing with friends! I asked Violet what was her favorite part of the weekend and she said , "Playing with Minnie Mae (my parents dog)." Although we had a great time we are also glad to be home and are looking forward to Brian being home on Thurs.!

New Camera!

Brian got a new camera recently as a belated birthday present and has been spending a lot of time trying different lighting, settings, and poses it's been fun to see some of the better shots!

14 1/2 Weeks!

So here I am at 14 1/2 weeks along, not too much to see! Violet wanted to be in the picture with her baby too! We had a routine doctors appointment yesterday and everything looked great!

Happy Halloween!

We had a great Halloween this year! The festivities started on Friday with a visit from my parents and we all met up with Matt and Monica for dinner. After that returned home to carve pumpkins, have dessert and watch The Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown. On Saturday we joined some of our friends at Frontier Ranch to have pizza, the kids played on the field, and we went Trick or Treating around Mission Springs, ending with a fun ride down the hill in the back of the Anderson's truck! It was great having a few more hours of daylight, beautiful weather and fun friends to spend the evening with!

Baby Mac #2 will be joining us May 1! I'm about 12 1/2 weeks along and feeling great! This ultrasound picture was taken at our first appointment at 10 weeks!

Scrap Weekend!

My friend Jen flew down from Washington on Thurs. to spend the weekend here scrap booking with me. We got a room at the conference center and were hard at work most of the time! We got a lot accomplished, laughed a lot and spent some well needed time together! The boys stayed home with the kids and had fun as well but were pretty exhausted by the end of the weekend!
